This project, entitled “A Regional Analysis Framework for Evaluating Satellite Rainfall Extremes in Complex Terrain for Landslide Hazards Applications” is funded under NASA’s Precipitation Measurement Mission. We will be working with Principal Investigator Dalia Kirschbaum of NASA Godddard Space Flight Center to better understand how extreme rainfall estimates from satellites and high-resolution numerical weather models can be better used to understand landslide risks and a regional scale. Stay tuned!
